Book Bags Students should use the smallest bag that safely meets their needs and fits under their desk/chair to allow free movement around the classroom. Laptops • Each student is responsible for their school-issued laptop, protective case and charger. This includes any damage or loss of these items. • Student responsibilities include maintaining proper care of the laptop, and bringing it fully charged each day. Protective cases must always be on the laptop. Students must adhere to all policies outlined in the “Wicomico County Public Schools Laptop Loaner Device Agreement” and the “Wicomico County Public Schools Acceptable Use Policy.” Please see the Laptop Policy at the end of this handbook. When a student turns in work that is not his/her own, the process of monitoring students’ preparedness is undermined.
