Letter Grades 183 The following letter grades will be used in grades 1-5 for all academic areas for all 184 students. 185 a. A - Excellent mastery of knowledge and skills; the quality of work is superior. 186 b. B - Good mastery of knowledge and skills; the quality of work is above average. 187 c. C - Satisfactory mastery of knowledge and skills; the quality of work is average. 188 d. D - Unsatisfactory mastery of knowledge and skills; the quality of work is the 189 minimal level of acceptable performance. 190 e. E - Failure in mastery of knowledge and skills; quality is unacceptable. 191 f.
