22 Wicomico County Public Schools Student Learning Objective (SLO) Time Line for 2024-2025 – Teacher Year-long Courses Semester and Quarter Courses (Semester 1/2) Submission Due Dates October 21 October 21 for Semester 1 courses February 28 for Semester 2* courses Late Submission A teacher submitting an SLO after Oct 21 may be subject to disciplinary action. A teacher submitting an SLO after November 1 may receive 0 points for the SLO and be subject to additional disciplinary action. Semester 1 courses • A teacher submitting an SLO after October 21 may be subject to disciplinary action. • A teacher submitting an SLO after November 1 may receive 0 points for the SLO and be subject to additional disciplinary action. Semester 2 courses* • A teacher submitting an SLO after February 28 may be subject to disciplinary action. • A teacher submitting an SLO after March 10 may receive 0 points for the SLO and be subject to additional disciplinary action. * SLOs may not be submitted for Q4 courses unless they are submitted by the February 28 deadline Re-submission of SLO If Changes are Requested SLO revisions must be submitted within 10 working days of the request. A teacher submitting requested SLO revisions after 10 working days may be subject to disciplinary action. A teacher submitting requested SLO revisions after 15 working days will receive 0 points for the SLO and may be subject to additional disciplinary action. Approval Conference On-time Submission • By November 15th Late Submission • By Dec 9th On-time Submission • By November 15th for Semester 1/ By Mar 21st for Semester 2 Late Submission • By Dec 9th for Semester 1/By April 7th for Semester 2 Interim Conference (optional) Jan-early Feb Nov/Mid-Mar to early Apr SLO Final Data Collection, Analysis, and Uploaded to eDoctrina Prior to May 16th* A teacher submitting SLO results after May 16th without prior admin approval may be subject to disciplinary action. A teacher submitting SLO results after May 23rd may receive 0 points for the SLO and be subject to additional disciplinary action. *SLOs attached to MAP/-Ready data will be due June 3rd Prior to February 4th /May 16th * A teacher submitting SLO results after February 4th/May 16th without prior admin approval may be subject to disciplinary action. A teacher submitting SLO results after February 11th/May 23rd may receive 0 points for the SLO and be subject to additional disciplinary action. *SLOs attached to MAP/-Ready data will be due June 3rd End of Year Conference Prior to June 30 Prior to June 30 Notes: 1. Should extenuating circumstances arise which impact SLO submission time lines, implementation, or final data collection and analysis, decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis by the building principal. Such decisions are encouraged to be made collaboratively. Appeals may be submitted to the appropriate Director should a mutual agreement not be reached. After considering all the evidence, the decision of the Director will be final. All disciplinary action is determined solely by the building administrator and/or Central Office staff.
